We’re roughly an hour away from Money In The Bank 2016. According to WWE, it’s the biggest ever. Also according to WWE Mark Henry and Mae Young have a hand for a son, so who are you really going to trust? Anyway, I thought I’d do a really quick predictions post because they’re always fun, am I right lads?

Let’s start with the Pre-Show, as that seems like the only sensible thing to do. I’m not going to leave it till last after all am I? That would be nuts. We get two tag teams matches, neither are exciting so let’s get them out of the way.

Firstly you’ve got The Lucha Dragons Vs The Dudley Boys in a match of ‘who desperately needs a win more’. Truth is, I don’t care. However I’m going to say the Dudley’s will pick up the victory, mainly because I don’t think both face tag teams will win. Which obviously means Goldust and R-Truth will win in Golden Truth Vs Breezango, in another match I couldn’t care less about.

Winners: The Dudley Boys and Golden Truth.

Main Show

Dolph Ziggler Vs Baron Corbin

Oh please tell me this is the end of this feud. It’s been going no where for months and isn’t doing either guys any favours. I’m saying Corbin will win mainly because in my head he stills needs a few wins under his belt to be taken seriously. However, this is WWE so maybe Ziggler will win this awful feud and go on to do absolutely nothing again.

Winner: Baron Corbin

Charlotte & Dana Brooke Vs Natalya & Becky Lynch

Is it me or has the Women’s division starting looking like the old Divas division from afew years ago? Silly storylines, bad booking decisions…oh and, the title not being defended on PPV and instead we get a meaningless tag team match? Sounds about right.

Charlotte’s been losing quite a few matches on TV as of late, including to Paige in less than five minutes. So that probably means her team will win tonight, probably via cheating shenanigans.

Winner: Charlotte and Dana Brooke

US Title: Rusev (c) Vs Titus O’Neil

I honestly can’t see Titus winning this one and if he did, it would be a massive step backwards for the US Title that has only just gotten back on the right track with Rusev winning it once more. What I want to see is a good, strong, dominate title reign for Rusev that will put him back on the WWE map. Here’s hoping at least.

Winner: Rusev

Tag Team Titles Fatal Four Way

Tough one to call. This might be the match of the night with the most potential for a surprise victory. I wont rule anyone out, but to me it’s between The Club and The New Day. Personally I don’t think The Vaudevillains are ready for the titles and wouldn’t be taken seriously with them. As for Enzo and Cass, I’d prefer them to win their first titles in a straight tag team match, so we could have plenty of story telling and emotion.

In the end I think the New Day will just about grab the victory, but I’m expecting The Club to look strong and probably win the titles at the next PPV.

Winner: New Day

John Cena Vs AJ Styles

“John Cena is back and all is right with the world!” Lied Rob.

This is a huge match for AJ Styles, surely he wouldn’t lose another PPV match against a big WWE guy? Right? Well I certainly wouldn’t put it past Vince to do that. However I see this very much in the vein of Cena verses Rusev or Kevin Owens. He’ll do the job clean the first time around and then win every other match in the series until everyone forgets he even lost in the first place.

Winner: AJ Styles

MITB Ladder Match

I’m going out on a limb here. Ambrose and Owens are the bookies favourites by a few country miles (Alberto Del Rio is least favourite if you’re interested) but I”m taking my own gamble and saying that this is Cesaro’s time! That’s right, I think the Swiss Superman might be able to pull this one off.

I’ll give you a few reasons for why:

  1. It puts off The Shield triple threat a little longer (Wrestlemania 33 anyone?)
  2. Cesaro really does deserve another push, he’s been ready for so long.
  3. He’s an internet favourite, which means Vince can easily turn him heel to be fed to Roman Reigns. Yay?

Winner: Cesaro

WWE Title: Roman Reigns (c) Vs Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins never lost his title, but none of that matters now. Roman Reigns is the Champion and that’s the way it’s going to stay for a long, long time. Believe me, I wish it wasn’t the case but I just can not see Rollins winning this.

Winner: Roman Reigns
